Interior Border Gateway Protocol (iBGP) is an interior gateway protocol used for exchanging routing information between routers within the same autonomous system (AS) in a large network. iBGP is used to propagate routing information learned from external autonomous systems and other iBGP routers to all the routers within the AS.
